Stephen J. Kontos

Stephen J. Kontos is an experienced intellectual property attorney who works with business leaders to develop an intellectual property (IP) portfolio that can increase the value of the corporate entity. His services have helped management teams from companies in the telecommunications, medical device, automotive, and defense industries secure IP portfolios that create a sustainable competitive advantage, generate revenue, achieve business goals, increase investor confidence, and improve customer relationships.

Stephen received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, Summa Cum Laude, and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University. Stephen is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Stephen is also a member of the Detroit Economic Club.
