Christy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with an automotive specialty, from Kettering University in Flint, Michigan. During her undergraduate studies, Christy worked as an intern for GKN Automotive, Inc. in Auburn Hills, MI. Following graduation Christy continued working with GKN Automotive as a design and application engineer concentrating on driveline components.
Christy graduated from the Wayne State University College of Law. While attending law school, Christy served on Wayne State University College of Law Student Board of Governors and was a member of the Wayne Intellectual Property Law Association. Prior to joining our firm, Christy worked as an intern and then as an associate at an intellectual property law firm concentrating her practice in patent prosecution and litigation support.
Her current practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a variety of areas including mechanical and electrical technologies. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Intellectual Property Section and the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association.
